“Finshed lens heads are destined for the Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH, which the company claims to be the fastest aspherical lens in the world. Priced at $11,000 per lens, this tray represents more than $100,000 of prime Leica glass.”
f/0.95! sigh…
The Big Dance Theater blew me away yesterday. They do amazing things. This weird promotional video doesn’t do justice to their creativity and brilliance.

digitizing the past is tedious but occasionally rewarding. (me, probably about two years old, and my mom)
Here’s the difference between Town Hallers and G20 protesters: When the few immature idiots are done throwing their fits, the G20 protesters have a cogent argument that address actual issues and propose actual solutions, at the very least for debate. Molly Nichols (sp?) and Katherine Kidd (sp?) are freaking awesome. I don’t think I would have kept my composure at the inane, condescending comments, and tone of that douche-tool.
And what’s with this vague Republican concept of “capitalism” and their version of “freedom”? What they propose; no regulations, no rules, no government is by definition Anarchy, not Capitalism. It’s the Wild West before there were sheriffs. Also, a nation can’t be “free” if 10% of the population owns 71% of the wealth*, especially if alot of that wealth is wealth that was gained by legacy, alot of which comes from work done by slaves.
But I digress, my point is basically, thank goodness for women like these two who intelligently make their point even in the face of total moronic hyperbolic bullshittery.

Hey California and “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”,
You ARE going to be sorry. Don’t let it be a national embarrassment leading to an apology way too late like the UK with Alan Turing. Thanks!
